MWI Animal Health UK Announces Major Pharmacy Expansion at Stoke-on-Trent Distribution Centre to Enhance Home Delivery Capabilities

Castle Cary, Sommerset/Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (20 August 2025) – MWI Animal Health UK, a leading provider of animal health solutions and a part of Cencora, today announced a planned significant expansion of its pharmacy operations within its Stoke-on-Trent distribution centre. The centre’s dedicated pharmacy space will increase more than tenfold to meet the growing demand for direct vet-to-pet owner medicine delivery.

MWI UK’s enhanced home delivery programme supports this guidance, enabling veterinary practices across the UK to safely and conveniently deliver prescribed medications directly to pet owners’ homes.

The expanded pharmacy features:

• Upgraded dispensing equipment;
• An enhanced IT infrastructure to support a range of delivery options in the future; and
• A fully staffed pharmacy, led by a superintendent pharmacist and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain (GPhC).
